Persicaria 'Painter's Palette' - 2016

This plant is growing in my foliage garden.
Behind it is fuchsia 'Genii', to the right is persicaria 'Red Dragon', and in front the dark leaves of rhododendron 'Everred.' You can just see astelia 'Silver Shadow' in the bottom right. The red hips belong to rosa glauca.

Like the foliage of the Rhodo, is there a Persicaria Purple Fantasy in there as well, behind the Rhododendron?

I do grow 'Purple Fantasy,' but it is not in the photo. The plant behind the rhododendron is impatiens 'Ice Storm.'

I am going to post a pic of my Astelia, because I am not sure it is one, had it for a few years now, has never done well, the leaves go brown and start to rot off, so I have to peel away the leaves, had it in the ground and it nearly died, so back in a pot now, can you post a closeup of your plant please Andrew, then I could compare the two.....
Btw love the combination of plants you have in your foliage garden...
