Salvia 'Hot Lips'

This is my first year with Salvia 'Hot Lips', bought at Hampton Court flower show, and I'm finding some flowers now all red and others going whiter with just a red tip. I'm not sure if this is usual.

Oh yes very normal mine often start all white and change over a couple of weeks ,and just as likely change again a few times during the season it is either temperature or moisture levels .they root easy to give plants for next year.
