Diervilla sessilifolia 'Cool Splash' - 2016 (Diervilla sessilifolia)

Suckering shrub, growing two to three feet tall. Grows in a wide range of conditions, including fairly dry shade. The type has plain green leaves, but I like this variegated one in a dark corner.

Andrew, I bought this in 2010, then in May 2011 received a comment from a guy named Ppodaras saying he is the guy who actually bred this plant. He was/is based at a University in New York and said it's known as the Southern Bush Honeysuckle.

I still have mine, no suckers from it at all.

It has a lovely leaf Andrew. How nice to hear from the grower like that Shirley.

Heck of a surprise, Linda!
