Thankyou all :-), yes this is my favourite Montana too, I bought 'Broughton Srar' last year thinking it looked a darker pink but now it's flowering it looks very similar to this one.

Oh my, I now need Elizabeth, Marjorie and Broughton Star and free draining soil and sun and probably some overtime to pay for them. They are all stunning and beautiful.

Used to grow this one, such a pretty Montana, our Broughton Star is almost over now.....

My Broughton Star only has a few flowers but they seem to take a year or two to get going don't they , I planted a white self sown one round the fence near the pond just two years ago its gone mental this year I've been chopping bits off it today grabs me every time I walk past!

Your montana are so good. I've found a good location for one, just need to decide which one to go for
