winter aconites

I like them too but they don't like our garden's heavy soil!

I planted these last year...so far, not a sign :-(

ah that's good Hywel. its nice when they survive.

I'm beginning to think they are a bit like snowdrops and are better planted the green. I'm going to try again with plants this time.

I have found that to be the case.

I've ordered some from a company online to be delivered any day now and they're in the green, so I'm trying again.

ooh nice, well good luck. they certainly transplant better in my view.

They arrived on Thursday and Freya and I planted them around the pond. Now I just hope they survive.

I'm sure they will waddy.
