Here's a seedling grown from seed collected from "Black and Blue" last year. Distinctly different to the parent plant but that could be because it is still a young plant or it could be that it will remain different next year.

I will. I was hoping for some reversion back to the true S.guaranitica but I really like this. Fingers crossed for next year.

I love black and blue, this summer I bought a new plant, because we lost the last one...good luck with the seedling...

You lost a Black and Blue! It's been years since I lost one (2011/12 I think).

They must have free draining soil in the winter but are very cold tolerant (in my experience).
