Naughty girl, Amy lol! I do things like that too. It's so exciting isn't it when they germinate and grow.?

Hi Amy ,

Until you mentioned I have never even thought it may be perennial ? I treat as a annual

Out with the old in with the new lol

Not frost hardy plus I think just runs its course once the flowers appear, so Amy enjoy while you can.

So easy from seed as well , I have grown the smaller size but didn't look as impressive.

Any chance of a photo of the leaves if you have time

Hi Gg I saved 5 seeds from France apparently they will keep for about 3 years so should still be viable next year .also I've put one in a pot in the greenhouse to try my luck ,that remains to be seen , I'll take a photo of the leaves asap ....

I different time a different place Dawn Lol... I wouldn't dare take anything from a proper place like Kew gardens Gg , I would be scared of someone stopping & searching me Lol ... Mine came from road sides & round-abouts ... Waddy let me know how you get away with it, Poachers pockets :o))

Lol! I was only joking. Like you Amy, I wouldn't dare. I have found many times that if you ask nicely you will often be offered a cutting/seeds, rather than someone taking their own and possibly doing it wrong and damaging the plant.

You've let me down Waddy ,there was I imagining you like the Pink panther creeping on all fours between people legs in search of that illusive rare cutting , Ah well back to a more modest plan Lol ....

It's a HHA, Amy, seeds are highly poisonous (ricin).

I Know Gg I wear gloves when having anything to do with them apparently if you swallow a seed whole without any damage to the seed it will go right through you without harming you , it take 4/8 chewed up seeds to do any harm according to my information sheet , I'm not going to try it !!

Pleased to hear that, Amy.
