They go up one of our apple trees after the sweetest apple. None of the others. Gourmets?

They are getting too wise these snails, there was slime all up our house wall, must have slimed up to at least fifteen feet!! and then slimed down again mad or what?

They even crawl over my spiniest cacti !!! leaving a trail all over them :(
And they can get in between the spines and eat the soft tissue - unbelievable ....
