A very large flower from seed - Southern Belle series. While another pink with red eye has flowered for the past 2 years, this lost its buds before getting big enough to even see what colour it was, so this is its first flower.

Have just planted out an Hibiscus from self sown seeds in the block paving in my next door neighbours garden. It is purply but she doesn't know its name.

This is a perennial, but dies back all the way every year. Most people around here have the type that is evergreen.

The ones we have are shrubs, growing to A couple of metres.

We have the shrub types around here as well, but the flowers don't get this large.
