Attractive shrub

This shrub has most unusual hanging flowers. Don't know it's name though, does anyone have any ideas please?

It is Leycestera formosa - Pheasant berry or Himalayan honeysuckle, Janey. I had one of these in my last garden, the shrub is quite plain but I find the flowers fascinating.

Yes, I don't care for the shape of it, or leaves, but I agree the flowers are really unusual. Think I'm going to replace it with something more attractive in the Autumn, though. Thanks for replying Xela.

I love this plant, it blooms on old and new growth during the season hard to find a perennial that blooms that long. Being this one gets tall and tends to lean, I think it would look great planted behind a picket fence,That would give it something to lean on and the blooms would be the main thing you would see, dangling over and through the fence. Just a thought !~
