Out walking this morning (in France) and a house had plants to give away by the roadside. I didn't know this one but it looks the same as yours Amy. I know nothing about this plant, can you tell my the best place to plant, the size it grows to etc please?
Many thanks.

Bonsoir Madam, This plant is growing on a south /west wall ,Its Approx. 4 ft tall + the same width , its still young 4 years old ...I'm expecting it to grow a lot more in time to come . You can't see them on this photo but I have wires stretched across the wall to fan out the shrub which helps to tie it in to keep it a nice shape ,its half hardy it needs protection from the frost I also give it a good mulching at it roots before the winter starts . Having said that I thought the frost had killed it one year but it still sent up new shoots the following year .This photo was taken in July and it is still flowering at the moment ..You are lucky having them for free .. good luck I hope this helps .. .. :o)
