Idle shopping, or the perils of browsing!

Idle shopping, or the perils of browsing!

I had to wait to pick upmy prescription from the chemist, so wandered over to the shaops on the other side of the car park. Ended up with these: heather, pansies and ? she did tell me the name, but I'd forgotten before I got them home. If the chemist had been ready, I'd not have got any of them (possibly)

You will have enjoyment from these for long time. Money well spent.

I wondered how you got them back home Fran? They should colour up your garden no end. I have 2 lots of bulb pots on my garden table. Tete a tete daffs to go under the perennial geraniums and narcissus that can be popped in anywhere when they stop blooming. Impulse buys.

I got a cab home, Dorjac - I'd have had to get a cab in any case, as much too far to walk and I don't know thel ocal buses yet (I'm on the edge of this GP catchemnet area, so not exactly on thir doorstep)

it took me a couple of days to get round to planting them, but did it over a couple of days - blog "making my bed"

it does cheer the place up, right outside my b ack door, too!

Once i've worked out what the shrubs are, and what's going to come back to life and what isn't, I can clear some ground under and underplant bulbs - and if all the ones I planted, and all the ones I found, come up, and reproduce, there's going to be plenty to relocate in a few years!
