It is lovely Hywel.

I bought two of them before Christmas, I do not know what I am doing wrong, one's flowers look quite floppy, the soil feels moist, they are in my lounge on different tables. When I bought them they were both covered in buds, but within the same day, one dropped all it's buds. The other one has several flowers opened, but they look lifeless, it has got a few buds on it still, I wonder if the room is too warm for them, now that I have wall insulation, I have no cool room to put them in :( all window seals have heaters under them too. Wonder what I am doing wrong. I don't usually do houseplants for that very reason, can't be doing with all the care they require. In a way, that's why my garden is full of plants where they look after themselves, unlike indoor plants. But those looked so pretty, and the price was too good to not give them a chance. Lol

Never fail to please , do they Hywel ?
Michaela , have you tried them on the kitchen windowsill ? They might be happier there ?

Thank you all for your comments :o)

Michaella, you don't know the treatment they've had in the shop before you bought them, and they probably also suffered a temperature shock and being shaken when you took them home.
(not that you did anything deliberately to them, but it was inevitable on the journey)

I don't think your room is too warm, because they hail from the tropical forests of Brazil ... but they do like a moist atmosphere, so maybe standing them in a container with some pebbles and water might help - the water will evaporate and keep the air around them moist.
(don't stand the pot in the water, but on top of the pebbles)

Hopefully next year when they develop buds, they won't be neglected in a shop, or have to travel on a journey through lots of different temperatures.

I don't think you've done anything wrong with them M. They are notorious for dropping their flowers & buds after they're brought home from the shops. Hywel is right about the temp shock,& prior treatment. First they are in good conditions in the nursery, then just as they're about to flower they're whisked off to another place, cold shop etc( even put outside the shop sometimes) & then another change when you take them home. Some plants just hate being moved about, so best left in one place & not kept too wet.
