growing wild in scotland, maybe someone on GOY can tell me what they are?

It looks like Viper's Bugloss ( Echium vulgare ) It grows here on sand dunes etc and it's quite pretty, But this book I checked it in sais it's rare in Scotland, so either I'm wrong or you've found a rare plant Irish . lol
