Woke up Tuesday morning to discover that yet another branch has fallen off the council owned tree that is just outside my back garden. The greenhouse seems undamaged this time but can't check my little shed yet because of all the hanging branches. The end of the branch is through my neighbours shed roof! In spite of promises I am still waiting for someone from the council to come and clear it away.

As a last resort, I found using the local press, who reported on my problem, suddenly made the Council do what I'd spent two years asking them to do. Councils don't like bad press!

The council have finally agreed to replace the two broken roof panes, Scotsgran, one of which was broken by a falling branch when the tree surgeons worked. Hopefully it will be done this week but they are not noted for their speed :(

I do hope they can fix it. We have a pane of glass out in the door of the greenhouse. We have looked everywhere for C clips to replace it without success so OH is going to see if W clips will work instead.
