Waterlogged? It looks a bit like the roses after a very wet summer. But that is only a guess. Jx

Sorry to see it Yorkshire, apples are not in my area of knowledge if afraid, but i hope you get some help :-)

I'm hoping we can put it down to a bad /wet year Val , normally our apple trees are loaded I don't think there will be enough for one pie this year :o(

Sounds like a familiar pattern emerging here, even Lori in Canada has said the apples over there have failed to mature this year makes me wonder if there will be a world wide shortage this winter .......

gardener is here now ladies, he has looked at the apple tree and said there is nothing wrong with it, he said they can become tired after producing fruit and take a year off, he seems to think its nothing to worry about, only time will tell,
