She is taking some sun after so many days of rain. In fact she did not know anything than rain at birth. Lovely :)

I'm a bit sad seeing this Pimms..as the local cat got our three from the nest in the tree, just before they fledged..absolutely gutted that day..we just heard the parents ,and saw the cats tail hanging down beneath the leaves..too late for us to save them..:o((

I know bloomer and they do it for sport nothing more. I keep my cat inside if I see the birds are ready to fledge...but it is futile as there are so many cats about.

'Owler' the cat,so called because she stays out all night..her choice..is a little boy's much loved pet from nearby..he loves coming to look at all the flowers with his Grandad..and knew there was a nest there..he hasn't asked lately,so he will be told they flew away,if he does..She is a great mouser, but as you say, they do it for ''sport"..:o(

Aaaaw well caught Pimpernel, we have an older one in our garden at the moment poor thing looks like he's broke his leg its sticking out at a very awkward angle, he seems to manage ok but it looks awful, he's too fast to catch, not daft though I've noticed him at night hiding under the berberis nice and spiky so don't think anything'll venture in there to get him, he manages to perch quite well,I put food out for him near the kitchen window so I can keep my eye open for cats.
