Beauty all around, what's on the arch, please?

13 Jun, 2012

Veilchenblau - it has gone mad this year, so many buds on it.

13 Jun, 2012

Oh!! :))))) Thank you! I love that rose so much, mine too have a lot of buds, not opened yet:((((

13 Jun, 2012

That's going to be one beauty!!

None opened on this one yet Michaella, but most of the roses are holding back for some sunshine. Hasn't it been so cold. The ones in more sheltered spots are flowering the rest are still tight buds.

Yes, very cold, have had the heating on almost everyday:((( thought I was going to save some money on fuel over the summer:((( as the only gas I use is for hot water and heating.

We laughed last night I only took the electric blanket off our bed last week, O H said last night 'can we have it back on please' lol :o) It is so cold at night no wonder the roses are not blooming!

13 Jun, 2012

yep...I am new to electric blankets, bought one a few months ago, have been using it most nights now, I am getting used to having it on.

Oh how lovely. You have done it so well and must be so pleased with the result.

Stunning Olive....:>)

Really gorgeous. A real cottage garden feel. Jx

I am Wildrose, hence why I keep posting pictures, you can tell can't you lol :O) I love it very much, enjoy it when it is sunny more than in the rain (when I took these pictures) lol.

Thanks Moti, glad you like it.:o)

Jane that was the aim to get a cottage garden style, it has taken years though to get it to look like this (it was just a big grassy area when I started on it) and the big wigs would tell you it isn't a cottage garden without it has the mix of vegetables in the borders - so maybe I will put some tomatoes in there just to be perfect lol. I don't want to spoil the look though. Thank you for looking :o)

Oh b****r the big wigs, bet they never lived in a cottage. Looks just like a cottage garden to me. AND what self respecting cottage owner EVER had their veg at the front of the house. Veg were always strictly at the back! So there. lol Jx

lol Jane x thank you :o) lol.

14 Jun, 2012

Yup, always! :D Looks spectacular Mum....really stunning. You ever thought about opening for charity? lol ;)

I thought and because of where we are so isolated I put it out of my mind. You know what I mean I am sure, it is not easy sometimes being in the outback, especially with the wood at the back of us.

14 Jun, 2012

Yes, but it's lovely being away from every one. Bit of piece and quiet.Jx

14 Jun, 2012

Wow Olivoil it looks amazing I really do LOVE your garden:)

14 Jun, 2012

Yes, I understand .....good thinking!

14 Jun, 2012

Yes Jane - no neighbours - but I can walk through the wood to my neighbour if I needed to, lovely and peaceful for us but can be a little isolated when the nights drop in, although I am used to it after 33 years.

Thank you Nana_d I am pleased you love it, it is nice when people appreciate all the hard work that gets put into the garden so nice of you to look and love.
