The flowers of this shrub/tree definitely reminds me that fall in coming.

Over here they tend to start blooming around mid-autumn and then carry on through our winter. We can rely on these shrubs for winter colour.

They start blooming in late summer and bloom through early spring. There's some blooms on them all year, though...especially on C. surinamensis.
