Moved this from out of the garden, where it was in full sun and burned its leaves. It now has a big pot to itself and enjoys a shadier spot out the front.
The leaves are such a delightfully, vibrant green I just had to take a picture.
Other than it being a dwarf Acer palmatum, I know nothing about it.

Dont think this is a dwarf or palmatum ! unless mistaken its acer shirasawanum aureum.

I guessed it would have one of those jaw-breaking Japanes names...
Mind, it is dwarf at the moment, only two feet tall at best. :)
I think it will be fine in the pot for some years to come.
