Lovely, makes 3 of us like it.

Me too - that makes four!
...it's an unusual colour, isn't it?

It could be Weigela florida Folliis Purpureus. I like the foliage it sets off the pink flowers perfectly.

I've decided to put it up in the sunny border...so I got the physocarpus to balance the colour. Apollo can go behind in the middle with the teucrium in front. He'll be slightly higher up, so still visible with 'those pots to be purchased later' either side.

I like this one,Karen..mine is the variegated one, with paler pink flowers...not in bloom yet,but won't be long..

Love these - I have 3 in the garden - a very similar one to this too.

Hi Bloomer, Paul and Scottish - I've never seen one this colour before. I've just been and seen the weigela I planted in my old garden (just an ordinary pink one)...it has reached over 3 metres tall now!!

The one I have similar to yours is three years old now K and is still quite small - had the same one in old house for 10 years and in that time did not reach 6ft. I have a variagate green one that would go mad if I let it!
I'll post a picture of mine when it flowers and you can compare

That would be nice, Scottish - on both fronts. I'd like to see if it's the same and I don't want this one to reach six feet!
Mind you, my old one used to get the CHOP every spring! You know me! lol! ;)
