nor me SL nor do i have the money!!!

1 May, 2012

that's true they had a 4 footer down here at the GC and it was £120 it was the smallest they did too..

2 May, 2012

wow how unusual:))))))

2 May, 2012

That is the size of mine Hywel it had exactly the same price tag as well...but reduced to £20 ! As they wanted rid of them over the winter. I am quite happy to buy stuff out of season for reductions like that.

2 May, 2012

OOOhhhhhh ! :) how unusual! :)

2 May, 2012

nice bargain then Pims... :-)

2 May, 2012

you did really well Pimms, i didnt even bother looking at the price of this one, im sure it would be in 3 figures!!

2 May, 2012

Good bargain Pimps. They always have a couple in Dobbies over the winter, but sadly I could not grow these in my garden...too windy and exposed.

2 May, 2012

this GC has a couple of cloud pruned trees ~ VERY expensive ~ possibly explains why they have been there quite a few years now!!

2 May, 2012

I lost three I paid full price for the winter before last...As long as they are kept healthy and maintained Sticki..It takes some time for these plants to get there..I wince at the price of slow growing pines..but that is the point..

2 May, 2012

lost three tree ferns??? ooooh ouch! that would upset me

bonsai equally expensive but beautiful

2 May, 2012

I was so bereft..I kept watering and tending them until july...Hoping..:(((

2 May, 2012

bereft is a good word, i can imagine that so easily, thats exactly how i would have felt; now im feeling sad.

you will be doing a story in a minute!!
