Hi Bloomer, sorry should have explained. Art Cards Editions and Originals. Started in America apparently, very collectable as all have to be completely original and of the size stated. Sell for around £2-£5 at present. Have done a few but not to sell just to give it a go really. I haven't been up the tower for a long time either. They have the walk of faith, a glass bit that, if you have the nerve you walk on to, you can see the promenade below. Tooo scary! My nephew took my mum a couple of years ago and she got a certificate for NOT doing it :o)) Are you able to get out, weather here not good??

Brilliant N3tyy, I love making cards but have never been able to draw or paint, you clever thing, so much detail for such a tiny picture.

Thanks Simbad. My sister made me smile she said 'I think the detail of the tower might be a little out', Oooooeerrrr - until I showed her the true size and she was taken aback and apologized! Still makes us laugh when I remind her !!! :o)))))))
I love painting, making crafts and my other passion is cake decorating. However, for a while now gardening has taken over, I love being outdoors, and just seeing something grow that you have planted and then capturing on camera is magic. Give painting a go, especially for your cards such as Christmas, it doesn't matter what it looks like, using water colours or acrylics is easy to change until you are happy and it is your interpretation and special ?

Thanks Sheilar.

You are welcome Bloomer. Actually we are all artistic. Just look at all the lovely photos of our gardens/plants/pets etc. and your fabulous photo's of Casablanca, very arty :o). Think we should all sketch/paint something we like and put on here, we must all have some paints/pencils !? bet we would surprise ourselves let alone everyone else :o))) Glad you had a good time today, drunk in charge of a bus pass, very funny image. :o)))))))))

Is this the Blackpool Tower you mentioned? Well, done, nice detail for a small painting. I like to make cards too. Being creative is a gift I cherish.
I was in Blackpool when I was a kid. I made myself so sick at the amusements in the chairoplanes. So much so I never went in a fast ride again. The memory is so strong of that time.
