Our Rhus is getting it's tall candle like flowers for the first time this year.

Intriguing!
I can understand why we know it as the Stag's Horn, but why is it known as the Vinegar Tree where you are,Chris?
Either way, I think it is a very attractive tree. My Father used to grow one in his last garden, it looked lovely whatever the season.
