Early spring on the allotment, in front of the shed is cornus, which i have propagated from cuttings and layerings, in early june i have cut them hard back and since then have shooted up really well, when winter comes the back of the plot will be a picture of bright red/yellow stems, the plot does not look very good in this pic but future pics will show the transformation to a sea of wonderfull colours, everything on this plot has been propagated, the shed was made from old wood from a skip and deliberatly built to look old and weathered, the this plot i named noras garden she was a very special lady who i worked for and just loved everthing about gardening she was confined to sitting in a chair for the last few years of her life and before she died she managed to see the pics of the allotment which she liked so much.
