Lovely, Tilly my little girl cat is a little monkey if theres anything floating on my little pond near the very edge she paws it out and takes them alover the garden, i had about 6 differant floating plants in and she as taken everyone out, sometimes i find them and sometimes not, at the moment i've landed up with just one floater. Good job i love her :))

Oh Carol, what a little devil she is, she sounds full of life and energy. You can only smile though, our 2 are monkeys too but they dont fish plants out of the pond to date.

Easy skips...dig a big hole, line it, fill it!
Pond/small lake looks wonderful!

That looks fantastic, Dawn, you must sleep well after all the hard work you're putting into the garden.

Thanks Sandra, glad you like the bridges. We have 2, the other one goes off from the island on the other side, at right angle to this one :-)

Amy, thank you. The clay on this side was a bit better, this was mixed with the sludgey black stuff from the bottom of the pond so should be quite nutritious.

Thanks Dotty/Maureen.

Skip: You could manage it :-) Quite alot of irises out at the moment, they look nice but I would say around July/Aug when the different coloured water lilies are in flower.

Lol Lulu: Even better if you have clay, as no liner required.

Hi Gee, oh yes, I sleep well and thank you.
