Hi Resi, yes it is a Rhodo, but about 50yrs. old. It is a specie which grows huge like in the Himalayas. It is a wonderful uplifting sight.

Hi Adoons, just found your page, Hostas one of my favourites, a lovely combination growing with Cyclamen..I have three 15 year old Hostas in tubs, bought for me by my late Mother...that thrive year in and out...The giant Rhodo with i'ts big branches stretched out as great arms in proctection...

Wow, Crissue, how about a photo, would love to see that. Do you know their names??? I am starting to do that now so I can identify all my hostas.
This is a spectacular garden just loved it. I now have also planted my cyclamen under my Rhodos.

Absolutely beautiful ,realy love the atmosphere.

It is a lovely spot, the garden was stunning, and they lived in this tiny house, surrounded by this beauty. Says it all.
