Must be getting warmer, as these are getting more active every day. photo looks dull as there is no sunshine today. But now they are quite active i can clean pond out now.

So pleased your fish has survived that terrible cold winter, they do look very contented, sorry though you have to clean it , watch out for any Heron.

glad they are ok carol mine are to, what do you do to clean your pond, i took all leaves and dead frogs out after it thawed so i think thats it, fish swimming about and seem happy.

Mine are getting more active too, I put some prawn crackers out for the birds the other day(left over from a chinese) they must have dropped one in the pond, could just see all the fish out the corner of my eye while I was weeding making a pretty good job of eating it,lol,so started feeding them again now.

Thanks everyone. Sandra i just clean all dead leaves like you also give fountain pump a good clean inside and out then put a full watering can of rain water with that alge blanket weed liquid you got last year, and leave fountain pump on for a good hour.

ok carol, yes baz cleaned pump before winter set in but will pop some of that liquid in like you said ;o)

Ok. Just make sure your fountain, is going for a good hour after you have put the liquid in.

Glad the goldfish survived the winter Clarice. You have a nice selection of colours there. Once the temperature goes up they start feeding again. I miss having them but not much room in this garden to have a pond.

look1ng well but 1 would leave clean1ng them out about a month as water takes longer to warm up than a1r and 1t w1ll st1ll be very cold .
