Getting bolder!

I wish he would venture out during the day. I have to hide behind the kitchen blind, switch the outside light on without scaring him and snap away before he turns tail and runs :)

25 Jan, 2011

only a really stupid mouse or rat would enter a house with 15 cats! I don't see them either!

Oh yes, certainly worth your patience Gee. Great!

Lovely close up Gee, I have a family of them which live in the rocker, they do venture out during the day and are so quick just love watching their antics;0)

I saw my little one for the first time during daylight hours yesterday but wasn't quick enough with the camera, PP. I didn't realise what long back legs they had, a bit kangaroo like :)

My old terrier dog Mungo chased one of these little creatures and ended up breaking his toe! He was in plaster for 6 weeks but that didn't stop him!

27 Jan, 2011

the terrier or the mouse?

27 Jan, 2011

Mungo! He tried to follow the mouse behind a paving slab and it fell on him but he kept running anyway. He was a real loveable rogue :) Somewhere among my photos there is one of Mungo sporting different coloured plasters!

oh no, poor mungo ~ i take it jerry escaped?
is that right ~ was there a mungo jerry?

27 Jan, 2011

Jerry did escape, on that occasion but was caught later unfortunately :( Mungo Jerry was a group, I think, I seem to remember someone with a lot of frizzy hair :)
My Mungo was called Mungo Chutney (because he was always very travel sick!!)

I am a rodent lover - I used to keep rats - 10 boys. Lovely, friendly, intelligent creatures.

31 Jan, 2011

I like rats too, we had white mice and rats when I was young..they are good fun as pets.
