thanks guys, yes it is coming along nicely, really pleased with the progress. although some of it may be changing soon as steve next door wants to put in a couple of fence pannels where the patio is - won't effect my pride and joy (pieris tree) but it does mean that the lilac and moc orange in front of it will have to go (cant really see them in this shot) - quite glad really they are a bit manky and a little too big for the location, will give the pieris a bit more room to spread out a bit more, and i have designs on a ornimental cherry tree, and possibly my new magnolia baby. but will proberly look odd until i get them established, as we have agreed with steve to only put pannels in where the patio areas are rather than all the way down, we both like the openess of the two gardens as they are very narrow - plus steve is not much of a gardener, but loves to look at our flowers when sun bathing! lol should be much better in the long run.

Does he have to put a fence up if he likes the open feeling and your flowers? Seems a shame.
