I've never grown Artemesia. Does it have flowers and what are they like? Presumably if it survives your winters it would survive ours! Pretty leaves.

It starts out a nice mound about 6 to 8 inches tall... then in June the mature plants in the mound shoot up to about 4 feet...the stems are very dark and in a border it creates depth and contrast; then the flowers are like a frond of tiny white flowers born on the top of the long black stem.. Very airy and pretty. similar effect to limonium..but taller and perfect white. to see it's effect check out the picture I have labelled Acidanthera, Artemisia, zinnia...(if memory serves) it is the white whispyness. sure wish I could find the label... will have to ask at the nursery where I bought it.

Great plant .! I believe the name you're looking for is artemisia lactiflora 'Guizhou'. Another bonus, the blooms last a long time too.
