Some time to go for them to sweeten up.

That's a lovely crop coming along there. Do they have many seeds or not ?
Our vine ' Brandt ' is climbing steadily along !

Hi Shirley they have 1 seed or none. I took the leaves off the front of these to assist ripening. It's a very good crop this year. Shortening the vine by 14 feet seems to have helped.

As you may remember, we planted our very first vine earlier this year, lots of bunches of grapes so far. : o )))

Ooooooo! Lucky you, they look scrummy, do you do all the thinning out and so on, I know you must not touch the fruit while your snipping out some of the fruit, I had a black one in a greenhouse where I once lived, Ha! The fruit was lovely apart from the tough skin a it was full of seeds LOL, haven't really tried growing them propley since but have two white grapes struggling in the garden poor things, will have to sort them out and read up on how to prune and so on.

I never bother about thinning out bunches Ladyessex, just cut off all the extensions beyond each bunch, so the energy of the vine goes into the bunch rather than along beyond it. It's gone mad this year. I think it does well as it is semi undercover, but gets loads of sun, when there is any.

I was told yesterday by a friend who helps in the garden that a couple he goes to help, had a big crop of white grapes they can't use. They contacted one of those share websites and someone came round very smartly and harvested them, and took them away......very pleased. A visitor yesterday was interested in the grapes too. They are getting quite sweet and it's a massive crop.
