Its A Hover Fly Espisyrphus Balteatus the common name is Marmelade Fly;0)

Thanks Carol These are the ones that are nesting under the conservatory window sill, apparently they are not harmful but still feel nervous going out to deadhead my sweetpeas lol

dont worry carole they normally will fly off if you go near or wave at them,defernatly wont sting you, i hate wasps but i dont bother with these or bumbles,
