Very pretty and dainty.

This looks very much like one of the snap-dragons I am growing. I was suprised to find that is survived the winter.

I overwintered this in the greenhouse - it has survived outside here in the past but I thought the last two winters might finish it off. I do like the furry foliage on it.

Just had a double check on mine and it is A.hispanicum grown from Alpine Garden Society seed last year.

Mine was originally a cutting from a friend - I have increased it by cuttings several times but never tried seed, well done, you!!! :-)))

No: well done you! I have tried cuttings for many years of Antis but never succeeded, so whats your method?

Just small cuttings (about 2ins) in ordinary multipurpose compost gives me about a 75per cent success rate. I do use hormone rooting liquid.

Do you keep them under glass or just leave them outside?
I have Antirrhinums coming up all over my borders at the moment!

In greenhouse until rooted then I put them in individual pots which just sit outside in a shady spot to grow on.
