A concealed hide away

A concealed hide away

Lurking behind this Hydranger on the back of the fence behind the Arbor is this secret nest, inside there are a family of baby Blue Tits, To say Im pleased is putting it mildly I am thrilled as I had given up on my nest boxes this year. Im sorry I can't get a picture but dont want to disturb, but can't drag myself away, just hope I dont miss the fledging as Im out tomorrow!

I have a very old box which has never been used but a couple of weeks ago some bumble bees decided it would make a nice des. res., only problem was its very near my back door. Eeeek !!

wouldn't it be lovely if both ours decided to venture out on the same day?I think mine must be later than yours though, with not hearing them..maybe they can't get a word in edgeways...as Russell says.Lol

I dont think they will be long now Sandra every time the Parents go near they make a right racket, would hate to miss the coming out though, Iwas reading up on them and it saybetween 12-17 days from hatching, the problem is knowing when they hatched Lol

Exactly.! I can only see them from the kitchen...so not easy to watch as much as I would like...If I sat on a chair ,the window is too high to see out..and don't fancy standing up for long....shame really.:o((
