I love the leaves on this shrub it looks as though it has been dabbed with paint ......

I like it very much TT .. it's growing on a frame on the wall and has covered a large area about 6ft x 6ft tall and still growing you can just see the tiny white flowers if you look carefully at the photo .. :o)

It's not really a climber TT .. you have to tie it in against the wall it will grow 10 ft tall ... my Aunt bought me this the last time she came to visit us from Australia ... I don't mean she bought it from Australia she bought it while she was here ... :o)

LOL... well I have only ever seen them against a wall so I suppose it is used as a climbing plant ... . I have two of them and another cutting in a pot !

LOL.. no Carole it really is all like that ....This is about 12 years old Dd ... but I have another one almost as big thats only 5 years old they grow quickly !

I grew this in a previous garden as a climber on an arch, had to keep tying it in though as didn't seem too good at climbing ! It's a beautiful plant. Found out later that new owners removed the arch and put a trampoline in. : o ( (

It dosn't 'cling ' by its self does it Shirly , we put ringles on the wall to tie the stems to ... what a shame yours was taken out with the arch ... I suppose children have to play somewhere ....

It has small white flowers on it now Steve you can just about see them on the photo , very small but there are lots of them mostly hidden under the leaves ......
