The gravel garden in May.

The gravel garden in May.

I need to get in and thin out the self-sown Geranoum sanguineum plants before they take over!

And take over they do., I have them, but they seem to form in a very large ball shape in no time.

Yes, and I like them, but I'd like to see a little bit more gravel, really! lol.

Well spotted, Sandra - yes, I deliberately planted some in there so they'd pop up by themselves.

I have a list of jobs to do before the open day - this is one of them! Back on hands and knees...but it's nice there in the sun - if we get a sunny day soon, that's where I'll be!

June 3rd and 10th, plus a group of New Zealanders on the 9th. If it warms up, maybe some of my flowers will actually OPEN in time, Sandra!!!

busy time for you then....i cant believe how late things are. i have a plant sale on sunday and its not looking good. hopefully next weeks sun will encourage yours in time.:-)

No chance, Sandra - the roses on the house haven't even got past the tiny little tight bud stage, and the Geraniums and Salvias are at least 4 weeks behind. I've seen two little buds on two delphiniums - the others are just leaves! SIGH.....:-(((((

Good luck on Sunday - I've just seen the forecast, and I think you'll need your umbrella, I'm afraid.

You have plenty of time Spritz things will soon get going over this week end......

an umbrella is always a plant sale essential....:-}

How true! We bought a huge parasol last year as a ploy to stop it raining on the two days! Hope it works again this year.
