Yes Gunner.... We spent the day there doing the Rainham to Purfleet walk....Really nice down there today.....

Saw this photo, called to tell husband who then told me that Cormorants eat one pound of 3 -5 inch fish daily, they spread their wings out in the sun to dry them off. He tells me these facts EVERY time we see a Cormorant on the water ! Grrr. Lovely photo. : o )

Well thanks again Megan your man is a mine of info......Ray is a fisherman so he hates them......We did see a couple of them pull out an eel and they were fighting over it..one at each end......Lol

Great shot, we often see them in our neck of the wood (well sea) doing exactly as Megans OH says spreading out their wings to dry......quite a sight.
