Great looking little mango! That's a superb fiberless variety...everyone wants at least one tree. :>)

i cannot wait to eat the fruit off this tree, when i went to Thailand they grow this variety everywhere, i picked them right off the tree, pealed it and ate it, they were so smooth and sweet, how all mangoes should taste, when i found one that was trained to be a "condo Mango" i was thrilled and there it sits!!! hopefully la nina wont bring too cold of weather.

I envy you! the mango's they sell over here are bland and there is very little choice;and they are expensive to buy.

Lilape152:

I've read a lot about this variety...many people in Southern California say it's easy and bears well here.

Rbtkew:

Most mangoes sold in grocery stores are horrible here too. All imported mangoes need to go through a hot water bath to be imported into the U.S. This actually cooks the mangoes.

Luckily, we have huge commercially-grown mango orchards in the Coachella Valley, CA (north-east of San Diego County) they are some of the best mangoes in the world! The Keitt variety are huge mangoes which almost completely fiberless...and so juicy and delicious! They are only available from late August - late October though.
