It's always a lovely sight ... I have one of these trees myself and it's my all-time favourite plumeria.

i love them, i am trying to grow one but i keep getting black rot on the tips!!! very frustrating!!!!

There's many in San Diego growing very well. Plumeria obtusa needs to grow in full sun all day in winter to prevent black-tipping. Young trees are more susceptible...large trees more than 10 feet / 3 meters tall seem to not have this problem...even when planted in more shaded spot.
