Thanks Michaella, only just enough room for us to eat now....I have plans for more though...we can always have cosy suppers on a tray by the fire! :o)

Looking quite snug!

The plants are snug as a bug and are putting out new leaves, should give them a great head start for the Summer, they'll have their holiday in the garden from May-September.

They are all looking ridiculously happy and healthy ... given what's outside! They will be looking their best for their little holiday.

I've brought in a Clivia for the table since I took this and it's thrown up a big bunch of buds overnight. The African bulbine (Burn Jelly Plant) has also fired out a flower stem, must be doing something right!

Hi jen
Do you spray your plant leaves with water and if so how often ?
30 Jan, 2010
Hi Mushy, yes I spray every couple of days (if I remember), they like it humid and the central heating makes the air too dry for them.
I only spray with rain water though, occasionally with a liquid foliar feed added, and I let the water come up to room temperature overnight so I don't give them a nasty shock!
What about you? :o)

Junglegen:
You have a great indoor jungle there! : > )
I love your Alocasia metallica!

My word you look after yours i do spray mine well when i remember, but not rainwater.
Is there a reason you use rain water instead of tap water?
3 Feb, 2010
Hi Mushy, yes, I use rain water because it's slightly acidic and contains many trace elements and minerals... the plants like that
When you use rain water to spray with it doesn't leave all the white water marks on the leaves like tap water does...I like that. ;o)
