Very pretty with its frosting. Sounds a bit chilly up there, David, rain here this morning but bright and chilly this afternoon.

Permanent frost here for the past few days, Gee, and it could still be here for many more. Wish I was one of your tortoises, and had an excuse to hibernate (hope they're well and fast asleep?) :-))

The weather folk keep promising us frost but none so far, David. You seem to have it all! Two big tortoises are sleeping but Little 'Un is indoors, eating well and keeping warm under the heat lamp :)

It's one way to get a "white" Christmas, Gee. :-))

Sorry, Amy! Now, I do like choc truffles, too, and will be making these next weekend. I think that "Chocolate Ruffles" is a great name for this heuchera with its curvy leaf margins.Pity it's inedible. :-(

Only if you can fend off another two, Amy,lol! Actually, the smell of chocolate cooking gives me the most nauseous headaches, so it isn't all good (doesn't stop me doing it, though).

I think I can manage to fend them off David ..LOL.. what a shame the choccy smell affects you like that , I have written down a recipe from River Cottage tonight for... chunky chocolate cookies .. not sure when I will get around to trying it out !! ...

By the way when my two children were at home and wanted to lick the bowls our lovely old dog use to get in the queue with them and loved his turn...LOL...

Thanks, folks. Definitely Spring now hopefully, so shouldn't see such heavy frost again for months. my heucheras are lifting out of their containers Vicky, so may well be trying out a mix of plants together, thanks to your great blog.
