My goodness....Are you near water Gee?....

There is village pond just over my back fence, Milky, full of ducks and a couple of moorhen families. I love it :)

It is, Clarice, I have a piece of trellis inset into the fence so I can stand in the garden and watch all that goes on. During the spring/summer people who get married locally sometimes have their photos taken there too :)

Thats one good thing living in a village, nothing like that in a town, think i'd do same as you with trellis so i could see whats going on....

Gee how I envy you, the only time we see Moorhens is on our Canal walk!

Arent those feet amazing ..dont look designed for sliding great that you captured this as dont often hang around to pose do they ..

Those feet were made for walking on water weeds and Lily pads, but serve well for roof surfing, and possibly skate boarding as well. There was a famliy of Moorhens in our culvert this year, otherwise known as the River Rom. They seemed to like it. It goes streamified about 100yds away. Our MP said he was going to make it prettier....ha ha
