I can see him! Great shot. Sometimes when I see something unusual, I try and take a photo quickly, fumble and miss the shot :(

There were several around the garden so I set the camera to continuous and took about eight shots in a burst - managed to get him on three of them flying out of the corner of the picture behind the tree. In the others he's nearly invisible, even on full page, lol.

Good shot Wagger even on continuous shooting you did well to capture him. I great to know that they are quite quickly travelling down the country. A great success story for a wonderful bird.

No I didn't, Toto but I'm not surprised - when we put food out for them they gather in large numbers so would be quite intimidating in the city/town,

We're very lucky they've got a couple of favourite perches just outside the back of the garden.

I'm hoping they'll nest here eventually - they nest right outside my brother's house, they (my brother and wife)lie in bed watching them fly in with building material and later on, food. How lucky is that?

Yes that is indeed very lucky. I have only ever seen them in the distance.
