Glad you like him. Yes, taken with my new camera :-) He was a long way off and taken at x12 optical zoom. They do venture into the garden too, they are huge and my first reaction was, blimey, its an eagle, lol. Hopefully in time I will get a closer shot.

dawn you can crop it again once on computer to bring it even closer, :o) if you open your pics with windows photo gallery , just click at the top on fix then a side bar will apear, then you can crop or adjust colour etc,

Hi Sandra, thanks for the techy info :-) I've already zoomed him in, lol. He really was a long way away. We have an Apple laptop but works similar to Windows.

They have a huge wing span. Its a shame that there's usually a couple of crows chasing them in flight.

Great photo Dawn. He is big isn't he? We get Turkey Buzzards or Turkey Vultures here. They are big and black and have a tiny, featherless, bright red heads. Pretty ugly looking.....not like this lovely looking guy. :o)
