We have King Fisher birds here in Tennessee that look very different. They are gray. That is a beautiful bird. Thanks for posting the picture.

Don't worry Pitta - I know all about senior moments! Glad I could help. It's one of my favourite kingfishers and I've been lucky enough to see a couple down here this year.
