Poppy... Are those round slabs slices of a tree ?

They are artificial but they do look real actually even close up. We inherited those with the garden & I quite like them especially after I have done my annual lift & raise them cause the grass tends to encroach on them. They will look quite a bit bigger when I have done that.

Are those tree rounds as stepping stones? I see someone just asked that. Nice effect, I like them.
