Not sure where you are in Sussex, Holly, but I will be at Eastbourne tomorrow - my twin daughters are running the Eastbourne marathon, which goes across Beachy Head. Should be interesting as the forecast is wet and windy!!

Wish them both luck from me Gee.......looks like its going to be wet everywhere.....This is lovely Holly.........

Didn't get to Eastbourne today. Chloe had problems this morning and had to be rushed to the vets. She has been given medication but there is no way I could leave her with someone else at the moment. Keeping fingers crossed that Chloe will improve and that my daughters will have a good run and enjoy the event.

Holly one of my sons lives done there he is about 6miles from Bognor

Chloe is better, thanks Holly, she is on two types of medication which seems to help. I thought she had a stroke but it's a balance problem affecting all legs, probably caused by a lesion in the area of the brain sending messages to her legs. My lovely vet thinks she may adapt to the problem and compensate for it. Saturday was a very bad day but this morning she has been quite active and had a wander round the garden, etc.

My daughters both completed the marathon, not sure of their times but I believe it took them about 6+ hours! Wet and windy as you probably expeienced too! But they both rang during the evening and said they had enjoyed it!!

Glad to hear Chloe is a bit better........tell your daughters well done from me on the marathon....it was a horrible day.........
