fuchsia blacky

went to get my bird seed at the carboot sale but couldnt walk past the plant man, anyway i got this fuchsia blacky which ive seen alot of on here, im a bit worried about leaving it out over winter, would i be better having it in pot then i can take it in when frost x

i know, i was tempted to get more but had a heavy bag of bird seeds and felt tired after just half an hour walking, be glad when im sorted out carol

Wow thats certainly a bargain Sandra, like Carol says take it inside for the winter. Hope you will be soon feeling well again , its awful when you have to wait so long especially when you are feeling so tired and unwell, hope time flies by quickly for you, take care xx

thankyou carole i just get frustrated when i cant do much, but im alot better pain wise than i have been, more discomfort and swelling, wont be long x

You'll love Blacky San.......ours are in tubs and we put them on the floor in the greenhouse before the frost comes.

You had a bargain, they dont need the light like geraniums etc as long as you keep it damp. Mine get placed in my shed with no windows at all off the floor, I make sure all the dead is cut away and place them all in one large pot with good soil half of which is mixed with peat. As long as it does nt go below freezing point, or you can insolate them. As you only have the one, you can keep in your home.
