one of the last true redwood groves in the state, nestle in Muir Valley and in Muir woods national park, the trees or 200+ feet just too big to capture in a photo!!!!

Wonderful pics, Lilape! Wondering now if this valley and woodland named after John Muir, a Scot who settled in the USA and, among many other things, got involved in the preservation of woodlands and was involved in the setting up of the National Parks Service?
